Are you killing it on your surfboard? Have a question about riding styles or a trick? What surfboards work, what doesn't. This is the place to talk about your surfboard gear.

Strapless Air Transition with heli-loop

Postby Olas » Mon Mar 13, 2017 1:13 am

Hey Guys,

Working on my Aerial transitions, I can get decent air off kickers and ollie on the flatwater pretty consistently but when it comes to anything involving grabbing the board I can't seem to get it back under my feet for a landing.

Riding regular: I send the kite and ollie the board into my left hand, problem is I've already pulled the kite past 12 with my right hand before heading down - when I loop the kite from this position by moving my hand to the bar end and pulling in I get pulled super hard and can't get the board under my feet/crash!

Any suggestions on what to work on? Am I sending the kite too much for the jump or is there a way to hover the kite at noon with only one hand on the bar? I keep my hand with the centre lines running between my index and middle finger but can't seem to keep the kite high... maybe I am missing something else?

thanks!

Can you share if you did it successfully? I assumed that it was done since this was already 2017. stgeorge-atvrentals.com
