A few watershots

Hello everybody! Lonny asked me if I wanted to start blogging here and since I already run a strapless blog in Swedish I thought it was a good idea to be able to reach out to a few more strapless riders out there. I will basically just try to translate my post to english and post them here on Lose the Straps.

Here are a few pictures of me and a local ripper called Arild Kristiansen. The photographer Mathieu Turries was inspired by the water shots of Top Hat and Felix Pivec in Kiteworld issue 35, and went out with Arild at our local spot. Well i actually have to drive 70 kilometers to get to it, but it’s worth the ride and it feels like home so I guess I can call it my home spot. Anyway, the best shots of Arild ended up in the following issue of Nordic Surfers Mag. A couple of weeks later it was my turn for a photo session but I didn’t do as well as Arild. It’s really hard to get the timing right to find a nice wave and pull of a maneuver in reach of the wide angle lens. I rode for 4 hours straight in my 6/4 wettie and by the time I was finished had totally dehydrated myself. Felt like a really bad hang over and I had a headache for the following 3 days. Too bad I can’t show you guys the best shots but at least I have some leftovers for you.
